The Victorian Government has announced that Hume City and the rest of metropolitan Melbourne will enter Stage 4 Stay at Home restrictions from 11.59pm, Sunday, 2 August 2020.
Splash Aqua Park and Leisure Centre, Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre and Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre will remain closed during this time.
The latest restrictions are a timely reminder that nobody in our community is immune from COVID-19.
We're asking you to do your part wear a mask or face covering and get tested – even if you have mild symptoms, or no symptoms at all.
Testing is free for everyone and there are a number of pop-up testing sites located in Hume City and surrounding suburbs. You can find a COVID-19 testing site near you.
For the latest information visit vic.gov.au/coronavirus or call the coronavirus hotline on 1800 675 398.
We will continue to host free online exercise classes to support you to stay active during this time. Follow your local leisure centre on Facebook for updates:
- Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre
- Splash Aqua Park and Leisure Centre
- Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre
It's not too late to join our challenge to motivate you and help you continue your health and fitness journey. Visit our Facebook pages and Hume Fit app for more information.
We will keep you updated on when we can reopen our centres.
