In line with the Victorian Government's further easing of restrictions, we're excited to resume our COVID-normal operations from Friday 25 June!


Check-In

Victoria has updated its COVIDSafe settings from 6.00pm' Friday 23 April 2021 and you must check in using the Victorian Government's QR Code Service each time you enter our facility.

These settings are designed to balance getting Victorians back to doing the things they love while keeping in place measures to protect all that Victorians have worked so hard for.

  • Record keeping continues to be an important tool for helping Victoria stay safe and stay open.
  • The need for fast and accurate contact information for anyone who has been at a listed COVID-19 public exposure site is vital.
  • Splash Aqua Park and Leisure Centre require all visitors to check in using the free Victorian Government QR Code Service

Masks

Wearing of masks is mandatory at Splash as per the current DHHS restrictions:

From 6:00pm, Tuesday 25 May 2021, face masks will be mandatory indoor for everyone aged 12 years or older, unless an exemption applies.

Operating Hours

We are open usual hours, which are:

Mon-Fri: 5.30am-10pm
Sat-Sun: 8am-5pm

24/7 will be reactivated from 10pm Friday 25 June.


What is Different?


Our team have taken steps to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. We will be operating differently so that we can ensure a safe environment for you and have made positive changes to our centre including:

  • increased cleaning regime
  • We prefer card payment upon arrival
  • QR check-in on arrival
  • hand sanitisation stations throughout the facility
  • person limits in areas, pools and classes

When are lessons restarting?

Students have missed so much valuable time in the water that we are recommencing swimming lessons on the first Friday of the holidays, Friday 2 July

General Centre Operations

Are you changing your opening hours?

Please see operating hours. We have returned to full operation hours including 24/7 gym access.

Who can attend?

We are open to members and casuals. There are limits in all areas so please look out for signs.

Can I be assured that the centre is clean?

Cleaning is our highest priority. A program is in place to disinfect all high-touch surfaces on a regular basis. Hand sanitiser stations are located throughout the facilities.

What is my responsibility regarding social distancing?

  • Practice social distancing at all times when in and around the facility.
  • If asked by our team to adjust your positioning please follow their guidance.
  • Please observe all signage and practice hand hygiene.
  • Floor markers will indicate safe distances.

Are change rooms, showers or toilets available?

  • Changerooms and showers are available
  • Toilets are available.
  • Toilet facilities will be cleaned frequently throughout the day to ensure we maintain a high level of safety. We ask that members support these healthy habits by washing your hands after using these facilities.

Are lockers available?

Lockers are now available and regularly cleaned.

Are drink fountains available?

Drink fountains will be available to fill bottles, but not for directly drinking. We ask patrons to wash or sanitise their hands before using drink fountains to fill their own bottles.


Gym and Group Fitness


Do I have to wear a face mask while exercising?

Please have your face mask with you at all times, unless you have a lawful exception.

How many people will be able to attend each session?

Gyms are limited to 170 people per session.

Indoor group fitness classes are limited to room capacities

Do I have to bring a towel?

No Towel – No work out. Please see reception to purchase a towel if you don’t have one. Patrons will be turned away without a towel.

We will provide equipment for use, we ask that you sanitise each item after use. It is recommended that you provide your own you

Pools

How many people will be able to attend?

We can allow up to 300 people at any time.

Is the pool safe, what changes have you made to ensure the water is clean?

Our water management systems have been reviewed inline with recent changes to government regulations to continue to meet a high standard of safety. All our pools are disinfected with chlorine in-line with the Public Health and Well Being Regulations. Chlorine is proven to disinfect pathogens which include viruses such as COVID-19.

Are the waterslides or aqua play zone open at Splash?

Aqua Park is open from 10 to 5pm from Monday 28 June.

Waterslides will remain closed at this time due to capacity limits.

Can I use the equipment, and do I need to bring my own?

As a measure to further reduce any risk, equipment will not be provided. You can bring your own equipment from home If you need to purchase equipment, we will have basic equipment available for sale.

Will the disability hoist be available?

The disability hoist is currently unavailable due to ongoing maintenance. We are looking at the purchase of a new hoist.

Can I use the spa, steam, sauna?

The spas, steam room and saunas will be open to one person per 4 square metres, so we will have strict 15 minute time limits in place for these areas.

When are lessons restarting?

Lessons will return from Friday 2, July 2021.

How do I know if my class times have changed?

Lesson days and times will remain the same as term 2. You may have had a teacher change

How much will my payments be?

Debit amounts will remain as they were in March, we have frozen all 2019-2020 prices.

When will I be debited?

Debits will recommence the fortnight of Monday 5 July to Sunday 18 July in line with your debit schedule. This amount will be a half payment due to credits applied.

How much will my payments be?

Debit amounts will remain as they were in March, we have frozen all 2019-2020 prices.

What happens with the debits for lessons during closure?

We credited all missed lessons payments, you do not need to do anything.

I have no one to look after my other children?

Why can only 1 parent/guardian attend lessons?

Due to the restrictions we will reach capacity at the change over of lessons if all students and 1 parent attend the centre.

I don’t feel comfortable to attend lessons due to COVID
